Painful injuries can be sustained jumping up and down. Tile floors are slippery causing legs to lose their grip causing injury to hip joints, knees, and spines. Large breeds such as German Shepard, New Found Land, Rottweilers, Labs, Golden Retrievers and others are susceptible to serious injury. The outside cover is made from a non-toxic tight weaved fabric, resistant to traffic and the wear and tear of large animals and their groomed nails. YKK zippers are used for longevity and strength.
The inside waterproof cover is professionally embossed with our logo so you can distinguish ours from imposters. It’s easy to remove and easy to care for. We suggest gentle wash cycle and air dry.
Its unique interlocking foldable design allows you the option used as a flat bed with or without its overstuffed removable pillow top, or securely latched into a step in the room of your choice. The removable pillow top is stuffed with our proprietary blend of Visco (Memory foam) and polyurethane foam (like your mattress) for comfort and contouring to your pet’s body.
Big Buddy Booster is made of dense Certipur certified foam to support the weight of large animals, all the while providing stability without sacrificing comfort.

My almost 12 year old Boxer, Brewster, had spinal surgery – dorsal laminectomy eight weeks ago. Since he has the very bad habit of jumping on and off the bed for 12 years, trying to train him to use steps, ramps etc. has exhausted all of us. I came across the Steppy Bed “Big Buddy Booster 8.0″ and thought this might work because the step depth was 14”, which seemed to be a problem with the other steps, the steps were flat – not at an angle – which we learned is critical for Brewster and the foam appeared to be much firmer than stacking his already owned Ortho Beds on top of each other which he refused to use as well because they were too “soft.” The solution worked perfectly!! They arrived earlier than expected and Brewster is using them! I am so pleased and we are now learning this to be the new “norm.”
